A superior quality water stone, made to the finest Japanese specifications. These stones cut very fast, but still leave the finest edge. Stones need to be soaked for 30 minutes before using, but can remain in the water indefinitely after the first use. Start sharpening with a coarser stone such as an 800 grit item, then proceed progressively to finer grits. The 6000 grit finish stone will provide a perfect edge for almost any too and use.
